Prior to my move to Canada in 2015 I was a staff editor and writer for UKi Media & Events, an international publisher and trade show organizer based in Surrey, UK. In more than a decade at UKi I edited a number of different business and engineering titles related to the automotive and motorsports industries. I also managed the associated websites and organized independently judged annual awards schemes that are highly respected within their fields.
I have a first-class bachelor's degree in German with History and spent several years working on European projects for a leading software consultancy prior to making a successful switch to a career in journalism in 2003, initially as a freelance writer for Motorsport News.
